Baltistan was divided by four kingdoms, Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, and Rondu. In 1840 raja of Jammu Kashmir Gulab Singh imprisoned the reigning raja of Baltistan Ahmad Shah. Independence of Baltistan was ended and maharaja of Kashmir ruled Baltistan for 107 years...

DAY 4

 Shigar to Khaplu 2 hours’ drive was the second-largest kingdom in Baltistan. Father up the valley behind the place you pass `Chak- chang carved wooden mosque. Supposedly the oldest mosque of Baltistan, khaplu Fort ex raja’ residency built-in 1840 by Raja Dault khan Ali. The people used to live inside of this fort nobody allows enhancing infrastructure outside of Fort. This tradition had been changed by the maharaja of Kashmir after his invasion. DAY 5

Skardu to Deo Sai plain approximate 2  hours’ drive with a distance of 30km at the elevation of 4000 meters from the sea level. The second-largest plain of the world after Tibet in China. On the way explore Buddha Rock, one of the most important symbols of Buddhism in Skardu at Manthal village near Skardu Town. The Buddhist engraved the Buddha picture on a big rock back in the 8th century … Drive of 30 minutes from Skardu Town towards Deo Sai plain, satpara lake is situated a scenic neutral lake at an elevation of 2636 above the sea level. This spot is breathtaking for photography taking a break of half hours. Capturing the everlasting memories…
